Badge terms
Last updated: August 15, 2026
1. License to display
Verified Members are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to display the Agency Association member badge on their own website. The badge must link to the member's unique profile page on agencyassociation.org.
2. Badge integrity
The badge must be displayed as provided — without modification to the seal, text, or link target. Members may adjust sizing to fit their footer layout but may not alter the design, colors, or wording.
3. Link requirements
The badge link must point to the member's profile URL as generated by the badge tool. Links must not be redirected, obscured, or modified to point elsewhere. The link may userel="noopener"but must not use nofollow or sponsored attributes, as the badge represents a genuine editorial endorsement.
4. Revocation
The license to display the badge is contingent on maintaining Verified Member status. If the badge is removed from the member's site, or if membership is revoked for any reason, the member must remove the badge from their website within 30 days.
5. SEO compliance
The badge program is designed to comply with search engine guidelines. Each badge links to a unique profile page with genuine content. Members must not attempt to manipulate the program through artificial link schemes, automated installations, or bulk deployments across multiple sites.
